Marine Moms arrived at 8:00AM on Saturday to visit the recruits at MCRD in San Diego. We visited four platoons this year. Each recruit received letters and various items to boost their spirits. The recruits were given free time to visit with the Marine Mom Volunteers and each other while reading letters written by kids from all around the country.

The number of volunters was high. Giving each recruit plenty of time to chat with folks. All had a great time.
