On Saturday, March 25, 2005 the Marine Moms arrived at 8:00AM to visit the recruits at MCRD San Diego. A sunny warm day in San Diego. We visited four medical platoons this year. Each recruit received letters, candy and various items to boost their spirits. The recruits were given free time to visit with the Marine Mom Volunteers and each other while reading letters written by kids from all around the country.

The attitude of the recruits was very high, each having expectations of moving back to their training companies soon. There were a lot of happy people in the room!
